The Dublin Comedy Improv

Irelands longest running comedy improv troupe,The  Dublin Comedy Improv, has performed every Monday in The International Bar, Wicklow Street. Since 1992 they have performed thousands of scenes all based on audience suggestions. Without a script the performers take to the stage and make up an entire show before your eyes.

Known from their numerous television appearances (The Late Late Show, Bridget and Eamon, Stew, The Comedy Store, Montreal Just For Laughs, Couched, The Lounge to name but a few), several corporate shows, two series of their own RTE Radio show (The Comedy Improv Radio Show), many appearances world wide at many different comedy festivals and one of the very few acts that have been invited back time and time again to the Kilkenny Comedy Festival.

“Whose Line Is It Anyway with an Irish Accent.”

Regular performers include Ian Coppinger, Joe Rooney, Paul Tylak, Michelle Read, Kevin Gildea, Sharon Mannion and Danny Kehoe.

Very special guests over the years have included Phil Jupitus (Never Mind The Buzzcocks, QI), Dan  Castellaneta (the voice of Homer Simpson), Ardal O Hanlon (Fr Ted), George Wendt (Norm from Cheers), Dylan Moran (Black Books), performers from “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” and The Comedy Store Players.
