Paul Currie.

PAUL is a rising cult comedian in the U.K., building up a loyal fan base with his unique style of genre breaking stand up since 2006. Fusing traditional stand up, with the energy and crowd work of his street performing background, mixed with puppetry, clowning and cabaret he offers audiences something new and refreshing. He has featured on the BBC cult tv comedy show Live at the Electric. His first solo show at Edinburgh fringe was 2009, he then returned in 2011 with Avalon UK's  COMEDY ZONE edinburgh showcase that has launched many names like Stewart Lee & Noel Fielding. This year he won the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Comedians Choice award for BEST SHOW. Paul was a stand out performer at this year’s Melbourne Comedy Festival & Edinburgh Fringe Festivals with sell out performances  and triple 5 star reviews for his show HOT DONKEY. Paul is also a Jim Henson muppeteer and has performed and voiced on puppets on Jim Henson Pajanimals, Sesame Tree, Driftwood Bay, Big and Small and Furchester Hotel. Paul lives in Belfast and performs across the U.K. & Ireland & Europe.

He was also a run away success at Hollands Utrecht Comedy fest and Germany's Schaubudensommer Festival in Dresden. He's also played in Denmark and Belgium and yet he only speaks English! His stand up comedy is unique in that it's so physical and naturally funny and human to its core that his stand up breaks all cultural barriers and hits the human funny bone that we all share.
